Mr. Abdoulie Sowe possesses more than 20 years of experience in the field of computer hardware, TCP/IP networking (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, router configuration, network security, etc.), server administration and ISP design and backbone routing. He worked with Gamtel for more than six years as an IT Engineer and later as a Manager of Data Network Development. In this capacity, he facilitated the implementation of the internet gateway and oversaw the national internet backbone. He was also instrumental in the implementation of new data/IP services, such as ADSL, VoIP and VPN. In 2006-2013, Mr. Sowe served as the Network Consultant for the World Bank IFMIS Project where his core task was to administer the IFMIS Network and Server Farm Infrastructure. He was essential in the implementation of the IFMIS SQL database, and in the primary and the disaster recovery sites setup and administration. Mr. Sowe holds an M.Sc. in IT and a B.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Maintenance. He is certified by Microsoft (MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA) and Cisco (CCNA, CCNP). Mr. Alhagie Mbow is a seasoned IT capacity-building specialist with over 20 years of experience. He is an expert in diverse eProducts, Microsoft applications and various operating systems, as well as software and website development. As the Head of Technology with Ecobank Gambia, Mr. Mbow led and trained a team in the management and implementation of all IT-related services. As the Country Systems Support Manager at Standard Chartered Bank, he managed the Bank’s VSAT network, email system and various applications and databases. He also managed the Bank’s project in hardware and software renewal and developed a disaster recovery site. As an employee of AT&T in the USA, he trained a team charged with the implementation of VoIP, high speed internet services and telephony products and services. He was a key resource for Reliance Financial Services Ltd. in platform evaluation, network implementation and comprehensive employee training. He holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Information Systems as well as an Associate degree in Computer Science. Hon. Mbow is a member of the Gambia National Assembly since 2017 representing Upper Saloum constituency.
Mr. Njundu Fatty is an IT professional with over 20 years of experience in business process analysis and information management systems design, implementation and administration. He has vast experience implementing IT systems in both the private and public sectors in The Gambia. Between 1995 and 2001, he worked with the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation. From 2001 to 2005, he served as the Head of Technology of the Guaranty Trust Bank. Between 2006 and 2013, Mr. Fatty headed the IFMIS Technical Support Group. He was responsible for the overall implementation and support of the IT infrastructure and oversaw the implementation of both Phase I and II of the IFMIS. He was also a Team Leader in the development of IT infrastructure of Reliance Financial Services Ltd., and a key resource person in implementing the electoral database for the Independent Electoral Commission during the 2006 and 2001 general elections. Mr. Fatty holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and a B.Comm degree. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Mr. Fatty is the current CEO of Supersonicz Financial Services Ltd, a microfinance
